Meet Cara, my bright co-worker. Her occupation is “Day Brightener” (I took this is straight out of her business card. Seriously.) Besides that, I’m not really sure what she does at work besides eating chilli chocolate with me and ignoring half of everything I say (and mishearing the other half). She is the only person I know that has road rage – all she really wants to do while driving is show people how beautiful the Earth would be without them. Her favorite color is glitter and she can literally fix anything that’s broken. Anything. We’re unquestionable different (I can’t even fix a ‘broken’ car stereo; which was never broken to begin with; the POWER button was off) and we’re authentically alike (we’d both rather stare at the clouds all day and bake mini cupcakes because – HELLO – there’s no cuter way to serve things than in cupcake form). I’m not sure what my life would be like without her sitting across from me; I’d have no one to give me information on a need-to-know basis (like how to properly cook shrimp). Yes, food is a common topic.
Well now, I’ve introduced the character, let’s move on with the story. Cara is getting married to Chris and I was thrilled to shoot their engagement session and so looking forward to the wedding! CONGRATULATIONS CARA DEAR!
